Donating Goods such as clothing, furniture and appliances to Salvation Army Family Thrift Stores helps to benefit those in need. Donating to The Salvation Army is a very kind thing to do. You help make a difference in the community when you give The Salvation Army re-sellable items they can really use.
HOW YOUR DONATIONS HELP
Money raised from Thrift Store sales helps to fund local Salvation Army programs such as After School Program, Teen Fire- Teen Center, Summer Camp, Emergency Disaster Assistance, Emergency Financial Assistance, Pathway to Hope, Adventure Corps, Community Dinners and more.
When you donate in person. Salvation Army employees will provide you with a receipt for tax purposes. The Salvation Army does not set a valuation on your donation. It's up to you to assign a value to your item. (For professional advice, please consult your tax advisor.) The Donation Value Guide at SATruck.org will help you determine the approximate tax-deductible value of some of the more commonly donated items.
HOW TO DONATE
Donate your gently used items in person at our Thrift Store during regular business hours from 9:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Saturday or schedule a pickup at your home if you have large furniture or bulk items.
